Originally, I’m from Poznań (Poland), and it was there that my adventure with tango and DJ-ing began. For years now, I’ve been living in Geneva, where I regularly play at local and regional milongas in Geneva, Lausanne, and Fribourg. However, whenever I can, I pack my suitcase and escape to play elsewhere – at festivals, marathons, or tango weekends across Europe. Still, my heart always pulls me back to Polish events – to Poznań, Wrocław, Kraków, and now, for the second time, I’m happily returning to Zabrze!
I’ve been dancing since I remember, I can not imagine a world without music, no, it wasn’t always tango, but it was the biggest and most important music, dance, and social discovery for me … When I’m composing tandas I think first of all about the emotions and dance possibilities it creates. … I like to think that every milonga is the unique story, a fleeting encounter that keeps repeating and yet it is always different, that I create a background for the story that is happening on the dance floor, and I hope that everyone will take some of this story with them. Like many, I love the Golden Age, and like many, I often go beyond it as well … as a DJ I’m going to a milonga with a similar attitude as many dancers, to see what story we can write this time…
