Salvo has been behind the decks as a DJ for various types of events for about 32 years, driven by his deep love for music. He entered the world of tango about twenty years ago and has never left it, both as a tango dancer and as a tango DJ. He has become a prominent figure with his music at numerous milongas in Sicily and beyond, always committed to researching and creating the right atmosphere to excite and entertain the tango dancers in the room!
He began his intense activity as a tango DJ in 2012 and has been invited to perform at numerous festivals and events, including the Catania Tango Festival, Taormina Tango Festival, Barcelona Tango Glam, Catania Tango Meeting, TrioTangoMarathon, L’Encuentro Tanguero Catania, Stromboli Tango Festival, and Catania Tango Amore Festival. In November 2018, a true gem… he was invited to perform at an international marathon in Shanghai.
In 2019 and 2020 he had the pleasure of performing in Buenos Aires at Dana Frigoli’s Pratica Dni.
