Sercan’s tango journey has started 14 years ago… When he was dancing for 1,5 years, he became the champion in Turkish Argentine Tango Championship with his partner Zeynep Aktar and since then, they make the tango passion in their lives. “Obviously there is a reason why they call tango dance a ‘social dance’. During our classes and performances, we never forget person to person communication and that we are at the very center of life” saying Sercan, a means to bring about the recipe of staying alive and youthful. He is a bachelor of business administration, a world citizen lived in Vien for two years, fluently speaking German and English. Sercan has been into music since he was 15 years old. With this musical background, knowledge and experience, he can seamlessly fuse tango music into his dance. This also gives him the ability of transposing a unique musicality experience to his students during their classes. Besides teaching and performing in all Europe for years, Sercan and Zeynep have a school in Istanbul called Tango Nar for nearly 9 years and their aim is not only to teach people how to dance but to make them fall in love with the beauty of Tango…
Mobile from an early age, SARA studied regional folk dances and classical ballet in Zagreb, Croatia. Her passion for Argentine tango was born in the late 1990s at a milonga, which led to learning Argentine culture.
As a teacher, She has developed a modern methodology for teaching traditional tango. Her goal as an instructor is to firmly root the fundamentals by emphasizing technique, an analytical approach, logic and a relaxed and natural attitude in both close and open embrace. Sara encourages students to seek understanding, exquisite movements, creative expression and a sense of music to make their dance unique to the two of them.
After spending seven years in the United States and Argentina, Sara is now living in Europe. Being member of the prestigious organization “Tangueros del Sur” led by Natalia Hills, She has performed with “Tangox2”, “Miquel Zotto in Concert” led by Miguel Angel Zotto, “Obsession Tango” led by Tamara Bisceglia and “Comania Roberto Herrera” led by Roberto Herrera.
