Daniel Pereyra, born in Montevideo, Uruguay, on May 7, 1962, is a distinguished figure in the world of Tango. Recognized by the Uruguayan government, he holds the Artist and Related Professions registration. Awarded the Artist Talent Passport by the French Government, Daniel has been a Tango DJ at prestigious events across Europe from 2020 to 2025.
As a certified Tango instructor by CETBA and the Ministry of Education in CABA, Daniel conducts regular classes on Musicalization and delivers captivating lectures on Tango history in Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Brazil, and Europe.
His professional training includes certifications in Musicalization for Tango DJ and cultural lectures on the History of Tango, acknowledged and declared of ministerial interest by the Ministry of Education and Culture in Uruguay.
Daniel has received numerous accolades, such as the “Otra Noche en La Viruta” award in 2015, and recognition in the International Literary Contest of Poetry and Short Stories in 2017. Notably, he earned the “Pa que Bailen Los Muchachos” award in 2012 as an outstanding Musicalizer and hosted the Best Milonga in Buenos Aires in 2012, awarded annually by Rosas de Otoño in April 2013.
